Google to steer clear of fully driverless car

SAN FRANCISCO - Alphabet, which has been a pioneering force in self-driving cars, may be scaling back on the ambitious nature of its eight-year project.

The self-driving car team, dubbed Chauffeur internally, will soon be moved out of Google X's "moonshot" division and pivot away from developing a vehicle without a steering wheel and pedals and instead focus on incorporating its sensors into traditional vehicles, according to a lengthy report on tech media site The Information.

Dmitri Dolgov, a longtime veteran of Google's eight-year self-driving car effort, recently took over as technical lead, replacing Chris Urmson.

Google
Google spokespeople did not respond to a request for comment on the report, which was published late Monday.

On Tuesday, Google plans to hold a breakfast event here. While little is known about its agenda, an email sent to reporters indicated that there would be time for photographs with a prototype.

The Google Car project's existing fleet consists of dozens of Lexus SUVs and a few two-person pod-cars, and both have been examined in the past by reporters in the course of millions of miles of on-road testing in four cities.

But to date the company has not revealed the Chrysler Pacifica minivan that is being outfitted with Google radar, Lidar and camera technology that will give the otherwise mundane minivan the ability to drive itself.

How to Reduce Bounce Rates on owned Website?

As an owner of a business website, your objective is to bring visitors to your site, turn them into your potential customers, make sales, and earn handsome profits. You can achieve this only when your visitors stay longer on your site and make a decision to buy your products or services. This will happen only when you have lower bounce rates.

Whilst bounce rates are disappointing for the owner of the website, it reflects that something is wrong with the site. You need to take necessary steps to rectify it so that you have more visitors engaged on your website. Many businesses that want to have a robust online presence take the assistance of a Cambridge SEO company to take necessary actions to rectify this problem.

Before going further into more detail, let me explain what exactly is a bounce rate. Bounce rate is the percentage of visitors that arrive on your site but leave without visiting a second page. More importantly, this phrase was created to let you know you have the right audience coming to your pages and if you are meeting their expectations or not.

Let’s discuss here what your Cambridge SEO company will plan in order to reduce bounce rate to your website.

They will make sure the content is relevant to your business

If the content on your website does not meet immediately the expectations of your visitors, your bounce rate will be high. Your SEO expert will use relevant keywords to target your audience and your field of expertise.

They will make sure your business website is simple, clean and professional

Young rapper YoungBoy confirm of first degree murder

On November 28, 17-year-old Baton Rouge rapper NBA YoungBoy was arrested before a scheduled performance in Austin, Texas. Video from the incident shows U.S. Marshals entering the venue just before the performance and records from the Travis County Sheriff's Office stated that YoungBoy, real name Kentrell Gaulden, had been booked and was awaiting extradition to another jurisdiction. NBA YoungBoy, who now goes by YoungBoy Never Broke Again, has reportedly been charged with attempted first degree murder.
He is currently being held at the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison. A deputy at the prison confirmed to XXL that YoungBoy is being held on $200,000 bond for the attempted murder charge.

The rapper was arrested back in November in Austin and was held without bond after police raided his show. All that was known at the time was that he was being held on an out of state warrant for an undetermined felony. He was then extradited from Austin to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, his hometown and booked on Wednesday.

Earlier this week, his Twitter account sent out a special message to his fans. "I appreciate all my fans for my letters 🤘🏾 #FREENBAYOUNGBOY," the post said.

You can see evidence of the charge provided by the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office as well as footage from the rapper's arrest below. We'll keep you updated with any more news.
